Today Was the Day
Everything Changed. Monday, July 30, 2006. A year ago today, Mike started a journey he fought hard to try and win. Michael's favorite Aunt Lynnell asked that you all remember and celebrate Mike with your memories and stories on this blog.

I do still miss you Mikey.
It was a total shock to learn from our daughter, Lisa, that while searching for Mike on the internet she learned of his death. Mike and Lisa were best friends in high school in El Paso, TX and Mike lived with us for awhile. After he joined the Navy we kind of lost touch. We are just so terribly sorry that this young man's life was so brief and grieve with his family.
