Mike's cousin (and other sister) Bianca finally got her wings! Below is Bianca's memorial tattoo she had done in honor of Mike. The piece is based of Mike's "wings" pin he earned while in the Navy. Above the shield are his initals and below, in the ribbon, are the dates that mark Mike's life with us.
A beautiful piece of work, and I'm sure Mike feels even closer to her now. Many people say behind every tattoo there is a story. Bianca will have chance to share a memory about Mike whenever someone asks about her wings.

I miss Michael!!!! well i had the idea for the wings for a long while because it was what michael was all about. Hes about life and helping others keep theirs, he was such an inspiration to me, both him and meggon made it through some pretty kick ass (not in a good way) stuff and i admire how they came out of the ashes like a phoenix.. (and michael had that tattoo!!!)he had so much life in him that he wanted to share it with everyone and in way i feel like i have to carry on in his place by doing my best in everything and helping others whenever i can.Now that i have this memorial tatt i think mikeys with me at all times smiling at me with pride and handing me hes wings as a token of hes admiration of the things i am now doing to better my life. I miss him dearly and i still think hes here somewhere saving lives all over the world living on in spirit and determination...did i spell that right. well i finally got on a computer so i could type this... been wanting to for a long while but yea i miss him and i know hes in a better place now...just wish it wasnt so... ok well im outtie and i hope everyone is doing good!!!

i almost forgot!!! well i went to EXTREME INK here in Yuma and an ex-Marine chick sat down with me to find the right everything for this tattoo!!! and we got everything together and we started within ten minutes. i wansnt nervous at all because i could picture mikey there laughin at me sayin "just do you pussy". and i will admit it hurt but im glad because it was OH SO worth it... when she starting doing the tattoo shes like your on of my best customers you sit perfectly still and you dont complain... as michael did... he just dealt with anything that came at him...anyhoo um there was this empty chair in front of me and all i did was picture mikey there... we had talked about me comin up there and hanging and gettin tattoos so it was actually helping thinking he was there... all i did was think of him!! and i do almost every 15 sec. and im not kidding at all!!! he is the reason why i want to be a better person!!! when we finally finished the tattoo i wanted to cry .. she (tj) did an AWESOME job!!! i hope michael is proud!! i know i am of him..to this day and forever!!!
